I graduated the faculty of medicine UMF Carol Davila in 1995 and in the same year I started my residency in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care in the Emergency Hospital of Bucharest – Floreasca. It was a privilege for me to train in the most important trauma hospital in the country. I had the opportunity of many training courses in Europe and the United States. I also had the energy to attend pharmacy courses of the same prestigious university and one year after obtaining the diploma of specialist doctor in Anesthesia and Intensive Care I also obtained a pharmacist diploma. In parallel with the activity in the Emergency Hospital of Bucharest I started the collaboration at the most important private hospitals in Romania. I was a founding member of many medical societies in Romania: regional anesthesia society, trauma society, nutrition society, pain management society, organ transplant society. What I like most is the management of the traumatized patient and the locoregional anesthesia. After 20 years of work in Emergency Hospital I decided that is the time for a break and I took refuge in private activity, especially aesthetic medicine. I could not resist long, longing to care for the polytraumatized patients and to guide the young residents, so two years after I returned to my endless love, Emergency Hospital. I am currently trying to combine work from the state hospital with private activity. The most precious rewards, the appreciation of the residents and the gratifications of the patients.
