Brian M. Bruel, MD, MBA has practiced pain medicine for more than 15 years with a large neuromodulation practice consisting of intrathecal therapy for both pain and spasticity. He is triple board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Bruel has extensive experience in spinal cord stimulation and has contributed to the training of numerous interventional pain fellows. He has extensive clinical expertise in the management of Cancer Pain, with years of experience working in NCI-designated Cancer Centers.

Dr. Bruel is currently in private practice at Cy Pain and Spine in the Houston, Texas metroplex and is an Adjunct Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston, McGovern Medical School.

Dr. Bruel was the co-lead in the development of The Cancer Survivorship and Supportive Care Center at Baylor College of Medicine where served as the Director of Pain Medicine.
